Comedienne and actress Wanda Sykes brings her own brash and bold comedy style to series television with Wanda At Large.

Wanda Hawkins (Sykes) was a struggling standup comic who suddenly found herself in the spotlight she craved when she was hired as an on-air correspondent on a local Washington D.C. political talk show, thanks to her best friend and segment producer Keith (Dale Godboldo). Wanda's man-on-the-street commentaries shake up the conservative status-quo and in the process drive-up the ratings. One problem though, her mouthy, tell-it-like-it-is style infuriates the show's buttoned-down, lead moderator Bradley Grimes (Phil Morris).

At home, Wanda must deal with her no-nonsense sister-in-law and neighbor Jenny (Tammy Lauren) who is raising her two children, Holly (Jurnee Smollett) and Barris (Robert Bailey, Jr.) on her own -- with a little unsolicited advice from Wanda.

Wanda At Large is produced by Mohawk Productions, Inc. in association with Warner Bros. Television. Bruce Helford, Deborah Oppenheimer, Brian Hargrove and Jack Kenny are executive producers. Lance Crouther is co-executive producer. Sykes serves as a producer and writer.
