Simbi Khali Nina Campbell on 3rd Rock From The Sun 
Simbi Khali plays Nina Campbell in the hit comedy series "3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN." As the assistant to Dr. Albright (Jane Curtin) and Dr. Solomon (John Lithgow), Nina often finds herself in the role of referee and translator between the two.Khali was raised in Chicago, Illinois, the youngest of seven children. She attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts and then continued her education at the California Institute of the Arts, where she graduated with a degree in acting. Khali's credits include the feature films "A Vampire in Brooklyn" directed by Wes Craven and starring Eddie Murphy, "A Thin Line Between Love and Hate" starring Martin Lawrence and "Plump Fiction." On stage, Khali has appeared in "Colored Museum, For Colored Girls...," "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Troilus and Cressida." Lately, Khali has been spending her time writing. She recently wrote a staged screenplay entitled "Sanctuary," which was directed and read by Don Cheadle at the HBO Workspace.
