French Stewart plays Harry Solomon in the hit comedy series "3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN." Chosen to be the funny-looking human in the group, Harry is the most susceptible to our vices and obsesses on television to learn the real truths about life on Earth.

Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Stewart graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. While touring extensively performing the classics, he received critical acclaim in The Grove Shakespeare Festival's landmark production of "A Comedy of Errors" as well as South Coast Repertory's staging of "Romeo and Juliet" and "Richard II" in San Diego. In 1988, he became a member of the Cast Theater where he performed for five years in the Los Angeles cult hit "Zombie Attack" and numerous other stage productions. Stewart won two L.A. Weekly awards for his performances in Justin Tanner's Party Mix" and "Happy Time Xmas" He recently returned to the Cast Theatre for a benefit performance of "Pot Mom" with Laurie Metcalf.

Stewart made his television debut as the outrageous disc jockey on "The New WKRP in Cincinnati" Stewart's guest appearances include "Seinfeld," "The Larry Sanders Show" a recurring role on "The Boys are Back" "Newsradio" "Caroline in the City" and "Just Shoot Me" His film credits include "Leaving Las Vegas" "Stargate" and "Glory Daze" Stewart also stars in the unromantic comedy, "Love Stinks."

French Stewart can be heard as the voice of Ikarus in the animated television series Hercules on the Disney Channel. He just finished working, once again, for Carsey-Werner on their animated, midseason replacement entitled "God, The Devil, and Bob" also starring James Garner and Alan Cumming. Stewart is also recurring in the new animated series "Star Command"
