Catherine Herridge
Correspondent for The Pulse
Catherine Herridge was named FOX News Channel's Homeland Defense correspondent in October 2001 and conducted one of the first network interviews with newly appointed Director of Homeland Security Tom Ridge.
In 2000, Herridge followed US Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton's campaign for the Senate, reporting from both New York and Washington, DC. In 1998, Herridge was a New York-based correspondent for the FOX Broadcasting Company newsmagazine FOX FILES. During this time, she investigated health concerns such as Medicare fraud, prescription drug abuse and child prostitution. Herridge has been recognized for her work in journalism with a Bronze World Medal from the New York Festivals, which honors excellence in communications media.
Herridge joined the FOX News team in 1996 as a London-based correspondent, covering ethnic conflicts in the former Yugoslavia, the Northern Ireland peace agreement, the Iraqi missile crisis and the investigation into Princess Diana's death. Prior to joining FOX News, Herridge worked for ABC News in the London bureau.
