Bret Harrison Sam on The Loop
Sam in The Loop is the most true-to-life character Bret Harrison has played in his seven years in Hollywood. Sam is a guy who must balance work and play, and Harrison has been faced with the same task. In addition to The Loop, he is working with Adam Brody and director McG on producing the film remake of "Revenge of the Nerds," and with Brody to develop new shows for television.Harrison was last seen as series regular "Brad O'Keefe" in "Grounded for Life" and has appeared on The O.C. as "Swerve," a character he helped create and write. His additional credits include the original cable movie "Everybody's Doing It," the independent film "Lightning Bug" with Laura Prepon from That '70s Show, the film "Orange County" and the television series "Law & Order: SVU." Being a comedic actor is only one of Harrison's goals. In a recent interview he said, "Honestly, I strive to be like a Tom Hanks, who can do everything. When I go to acting class, that's what I really go for." In his spare time, this native Portlander (OR) enjoys playing guitar with his band, Big Japan.
