Born and raised in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, 14-year-old Michael Cera began acting in commercials at the age of nine. He will be seen starring as a young Chuck Barris in the upcoming dramatic film "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind," which is directed by George Clooney.
Cera has starred in a variety of Canadian feature film and television productions. He is familiar to US audiences from his series regular role on the Fox Family Channel comedy series "I Was A Sixth Grade Alien." Cera's additional credits include the IMAX film "Ultimate G's: Zac's Flying Dream," the feature films "Frequency" and "Steal this Movie," as well as the award-winning telefilm "My Louisiana Sky," "Custody of the Heart," "Familiar Stranger" and "Walter and Henry."
Currently, Cera lends his vocal talents in two animated series, "Brace Face" with Alicia Silverstone and "The Berenstain Bears."
Cera divides his time between Los Angeles and Brampton, Ontario with his family.
