Ron Silver Larry Goldman on Skin ![]() A versatile actor who segues from television to feature film to theater with ease, Ron Silver is equally adept and comfortable in thought-provoking dramas and hilarious comedies. Television audiences will remember Silver from his recent Emmy Award-nominated role as "Bruno Gianelli" on the award-winning political drama "The West Wing." His additional series regular roles include the comedy series "Veronica's Closet" and the hospital drama "Chicago Hope." Silver has also delivered critically-acclaimed performances in such telefilms as "When Billie Beat Bobby," "Kissinger and Nixon," "Master Spy: The Robert Hanssen Story," "Almost Golden, and "The Billionaire Boys Club" for which he was Emmy nominated, among others. Silver's recent feature credits include "Ali" opposite Will Smith; the critically-acclaimed "Reversal of Fortune" opposite Jeremy Irons; "Enemies: A Love Story," "Festival In Cannes," "Blue Steel," "Timecop," "Married To It," "Best Friends," "Lovesick," "Mr. Saturday Night" and "Garbo Talks" among others. Additionally, Silver has found great success on Broadway, where he earned a Tony Award starring in David Mamet's "Speed the Plow" for director Mike Nichols. Other critically acclaimed stage performances include David Rabe's "Hurlyburly" and Andrew Bergman's "Social Security" both for director Mike Nichols, as well as Silver's recent one-man show "Bill Graham Presents."
