Chyler Leigh Carla on Reunion
Born in Charlotte, NC, and raised in Virginia Beach and Miami Beach, Leigh began her career in front of the camera at age 12, modeling for magazines and catalogues. Her success in print later led to national commercials for Coca- Cola and Wendy's, among others.By age 16 she had already completed several pilots. Aaron Spelling confirmed the young actress's talent when, after seeing her performance on "Saving Graces," he hired her as a series regular in the series "Safe Harbor." She also guest-starred on "7th Heaven" in a powerful three-story arc wherein her character "Frankie," a young, inept mother, had adversely influenced the family. In December 2001 Leigh made her film debut in the Colombia/Tri-Star comedy spoof "Not Another Teen Movie." By January 2002, Leigh had landed a series role on the Fox comedy "That '80s Show." Subsequently, she was cast in David E. Kelley's "Girls Club" and later in "The Practice" as "Claire Wyatt," a new series regular for the 2002-2003 season. In 2004, Leigh was reunited with Fox for the comedy pilot "Lucky Us," in the starring role of the free-wheeling conservative young architect "Lucy Reed." She later made a guest appearance as "Kate Spangler," a feisty young ad exec, in the Fox drama "North Shore".
