Bradley Cooper
Jack Bourdain on Kitchen Confidential

Bradley Cooper With his striking good looks and range of talent, Bradley Cooper has become one of Hollywood's hottest actors.

Cooper's recent film credits include "Wedding Crashers," in which he co-stars opposite Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and Christopher Walken.

Cooper was most recently seen on television in "Jack & Bobby," portraying "Tom," the wealthy teaching assistant. He also appeared in a two-episode crossover arc on "Law & Order SVU" and "Trial By Jury" as well as the made-for-television movie "I Want to Marry Ryan Banks" and the USA series "Touching Evil."

Cooper is perhaps best-known for his work on "Alias." He portrayed "Will," the best friend of "Sydney Bristow" (Jennifer Garner), for the first two seasons and can be seen throughout the third season.

After graduating from the Honors English program at Georgetown University in 1997, Cooper moved to New York City to enroll in the Master of Fine Arts program at the Actors Studio Drama School at New School University. There, with the guidance of such mentors as Ellen Burstyn, Susan Batson and Elizabeth Kemp, Cooper developed his stage work, culminating in his thesis performance as "John Merrick" in Bernard Pomerance's "The Elephant Man," performed in New York's Circle in the Square. His weekends were spent with LEAP (Learning through the Expanded Arts Program), a non-profit organization that teaches acting and movement to inner-city schoolchildren.

The summers took Cooper across the globe, from kayaking in British Columbia with orca whales to ice climbing in the Peruvian Andes, while hosting Lonely Planet's "Extreme Treks in a Wild World" for the Discovery Channel.

Cooper had to skip his graduation ceremony from the Actors Studio in order to star in his first feature film, "Wet Hot American Summer," opposite Janeane Garofalo, David Hyde Pierce and Molly Shannon. After finishing his second feature, "Carnival Knowledge," he delayed his plans to relocate to Los Angeles when Darren Star hired him to appear in the series "The $treet" opposite Jennie Garth, Tom Everett Scott, Adam Goldberg and Jennifer Connelly.

Cooper went on to film "The Last Cowboy," for the Hallmark Channel. He later won the role of young law student "Gordon Pinella" in the film "Changing Lanes" starring Ben Affleck and Samuel L. Jackson, and also appeared as "Travis Patterson" in "My Little Eye," which was released in 2002.

Cooper currently lives in Los Angeles with his dogs.
