King Of The Hill
Sundays 7:00 PM

King Of The Hill is the hit half-hour, animated comedy series from the fevered minds of Mike Judge, the creator of "Beavis and Butt-Head," and Greg Daniels, co-executive producer of "The Simpsons." This offbeat series tells often-hilarious stories about Hank Hill (voiced by Mike Judge), his family and their neighbors in the fictional suburb of Arlen, Texas, the heartland of America.

The series has received numerous accolades in past years, including an Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program in 1999 and a Nancy Susan Reynolds Award in 1997, and Environmental Media Awards in 2001 and 2003. KING OF THE HILL has also garnered numerous nominations for Annie Awards, Prism Awards and Shine Awards and was hailed the Best Television Show of the Year after its debut by TV Guide, Entertainment Weekly and Time Magazine. The series is currently translated into numerous languages including Spanish, French and Portugese and is licensed in almost 50 countries around the world, including Germany, France, Chile, South Africa, Kuwait, Slovenia, Norway, Spain, Ireland, Mexico, Israel, Japan and the United Kingdom.

A hard-working, loyal family man and proud Texan, Hank is assistant manager of Strickland Propane. He's a blue-collar Everyman who sees himself as the voice of common sense and reason in a world of incompetent sales clerks, meddling bureaucrats and do-good liberals.

Hank's Rock of Gibraltar is his wife Peggy. Peggy is Arlen's version of Susan Sontag: substitute Spanish teacher, fast-pitch softball hurler, local Boggle champion and notary public. Hank and Peggy's pride and joy is their 12-year-old son, Bobby. They would have liked a bigger family, but Hank has a narrow urethra.

The household is completed by Hank's nubile 18-year-old niece, Luanne. Luanne's staying with the Hills because, by the by, her mother is in prison for stabbing her father with a fork in a beer dispute. Hank is the undisputed alpha male among his neighborhood buddies, Dale, Bill and Boomhauer. Dale's an exterminator who never met a conspiracy he didn't like, but is ironically unaware that his wife has been cheating on him for 12 years. Bill's a lonely-hearted Army barber with low self-esteem. And Boomhauer is a cool, rockabilly, muscle-car-driving ladies' man who speaks unintelligible English.

Most episodes, you'll find Hank and the boys drinking beer around the barbecue. Chances are, what's on the grill is a sacred cow.

In addition to the regular cast, King Of The Hill has featured special guest appearances by the likes of Chris Rock, Jennifer Aniston, Matthew McConaughey, Meryl Streep, Bernie Mac, Reese Witherspoon, Ryan Phillippe, Kid Rock, Pamela Anderson, Heather Locklear, Willie Nelson, Sally Field, Billy Bob Thornton, Lisa Kudrow, Laurie Metcalf, Renee Zellweger, Brad Pitt and Ben Stiller, No Doubt, the Dixie Chicks, jazz musician Chuck Mangione, BurtReynolds, Stockard Channing, James Carville, John Ritter, WallaceShawn, Sally Field, Carl Reiner and members of the alternative band Green Day.

King Of The Hill is a 20th Century Fox Production in association with 3 Arts Entertainment and Film Roman.
