Franky G Jonny Calvo on Jonny Zero
Franky G has been taking Hollywood by storm. A native of Flushing, Queens, he played running back at Northeastern Oklahoma University; however, when a knee injury ended his athletic career, he decided to pursue acting. In order to support himself, Franky took jobs as a bouncer and security guard in some of the roughest neighborhoods in New York City.Franky continued to pursue his acting career by doing off-Broadway shows, such as "One Flew Over the Cuckoois Nest" and "Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie." He was offered the role of iJuniori in "Manito." Five months later, the film won the Special Jury Prize for Best Ensemble Cast at the Sundance Film Festival. Franky also played "Lupus" in iConfidencei with Dustin Hoffman, Ed Burns, Andy Garcia and Rachel Weisz. Recent projects include the feature films "The Italian Job," directed by F.
