John Sloan Henry Beckman on Happy Hour
John Sloan was born in San Francisco and raised in the suburbs of Cleveland. He is a graduate of Skidmore College, where he earned a degree in English Literature.Sloan most recently appeared in Bryan Singer and Dean Devlin's cable miniseries "The Triangle." In addition to guest-starring roles on "American Dreams," "Tru Calling" and "JAG," Sloan's television credits include recurring roles on "Commander in Chief" and "Judging Amy." Sloan's film credits include "Returning Mickey Stern" and the independent comedy "The OH in Ohio" with Parker Posey and Danny DeVito. On stage, Sloan was seen recently in the Antaeus Company's production of "Mother Courage." He has worked with numerous regional theaters, including South Coast Repertory, Denver Center Theater Company, Intiman Theater Company and the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. In New York, he has performed on stage with the Mint Theater Company, LaMaMa Etc., the 78th Street Lab and the Soho Playhouse. Sloan currently lives in Los Angeles.
