Grounded For Life Wednesdays, 8:00 PM on WVAH Fox 11
"I don't want to be the guy who's always scolding his kid for getting drunk at Action Mountain. I want to be the guy getting drunk at Action Mountain."- Sean "Look, I know you'd like to be the drunk guy at Action Mountain. I'd like to be the girl holding back his hair while he pukes. But we've got a bunch of kids here. So we're gonna have to just stick it out until they grow up or run away." - Claudia Right out of high school, Sean Finnerty (Donal Logue) and his girlfriend Claudia (Megyn Price) got pregnant. Now she's his wife, and at just 32, he's somehow found himself with 14-year-old daughter Lily (Lynsey Bartilson), two little boys - - Jimmy (Griffin Frazen) and Henry (Jake Burbage) - - and a constant struggle between his need to be a responsible husband and father and his desperate desire to be one of the guys. His judgmental father-who-thinks-he-knows-best Walt (Richard Riehle) and devil-may-care brother Eddie (Kevin Corrigan) are no help at all and, most of the time, only add to his frustration. With this family, there are at least two sides to every story, and life is never boring -- or quite what you'd expect. Creators and executive producers Bill Martin and Mike Schiff ("3rd Rock From the Sun," "In Living Color"), along with executive producers Marcy Carsey, Tom Werner and Caryn Mandabach, the prolific hit-makers of "That '70s Show," "3rd Rock From the Sun," "Roseanne" and "The Cosby Show," draw upon experiences from their own extended families to create stories about life for a young dad. Grounded For Life is produced by Tujunga Productions, LLC and distributed by Carsey-Werner Productions, LLC. Bill Martin, Mike Schiff, Marcy Carsey, Tom Werner and Caryn Madabach are executive producers. David Israel and Jim O'Doherty are co-executive producers. Ned Goldreyer, Tyrone Finch, Tom Purcell, Chris Kelly and Tracey Ormandy are producers. "Have you ever had a confrontation with a teenage girl? It's like being trapped in a car trunk with a wolverine." - Sean PRIME PICKS COPS Tonight at 8:30 PM Officers in Las Vegas respond to a domestic violence call; officers in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., detain two suspects loitering in a parking lot |
