FOX Sports steps to the plate to bring fans of the National pastime another season of excitement, drama and unforgettable moments. Under terms of the new seven-year rights agreement between FOX Sports and Major League Baseball, the 2007 Fox Saturday Baseball Game Of The Week schedule provides a full season of the "Game of the Week" on broadcast television for the first time since 1989. Beginning April 7, FOX Sports' coverage airs 26 continuous weeks, and also provides exclusive coverage of the All-Star Game, the American League Championship Series and culminates with the World Series. The 2007 season marks FOX Sports' 12th straight as the primary network television broadcaster of Major League Baseball and the seventh as the exclusive TV home of the Fall and Midsummer Classics.

The 2007 FOX SATURDAY BASEBALL GAME OF THE WEEK slate presently features 22 different teams playing in as many as 72 games, most of which are presented in High Definition for the first time. The final two Saturdays of the regular season are designated as "wild card" dates, allowing FOX Sports to choose up to three games on each date with postseason, record-setting or other compelling implications. The weekly MLB on FOX schedule consists of up to three regionalized games, all in the same window, beginning at 3:30 PM ET on WVAH Fox11.

FOX Sports begins its 2007 coverage on Saturday, April 7 with three rivalry match-ups as the Mets head to Atlanta for a clash with the Braves, the Minnesota Twins and A.L. MVP Justin Morneau visit the Windy City for a showdown with the Chicago White Sox and San Francisco Giants welcome the Los Angeles Dodgers to AT&T Park.

The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox, two of the nation's more popular teams, and bitter rivals, make nine MLB on FOX appearances including four head-to-head match-ups (4/21, 4/28, 6/2, 9/15). The Chicago Cubs, behind new manager Lou Piniella and the Phillies, behind 2006 National League MVP Ryan Howard are also featured nine times. The Fox Saturday Baseball Game Of The Week schedule also includes eight games apiece for the White Sox, Los Angeles Angels, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, the A.L. Champion Detroit Tigers and World Champion St. Louis Cardinals.

On Saturday, May 19, Interleague play returns to FOX as cross-town rivals compete for bragging rights in New York and Chicago as the Yankees travel to Shea for a meeting with the Mets and the White Sox head north to square off with the Cubs at Wrigley. The MLB on FOX slate features three additional interleague Saturdays, June 9, June 16 and June 23. Highlights include the Tigers hosting the N.L. East Champion Mets and a 2005 World Series rematch between the Houston Astros and White Sox (6/9); the Giants visiting Boston and Detroit at Philadelphia (6/16); and the Yankees at San Francisco (6/23).

This year's schedule also features baseball's most storied National League rivalry as the Cardinals challenge the Cubs four times (4/21, 4/28, 8/18, 9/15).

In addition to its impressive regular-season schedule, FOX Sports provides exclusive live prime time coverage of Major League Baseball's 78th All-Star Game, Tuesday, July 10 (8:00-11:00 PM ET) from AT&T Park in San Francisco. The Mid-Summer Classic showcases the brightest stars from the American and National Leagues and is traditionally the highest-rated sports program of the summer.

After the network's regular-season coverage, FOX Sports provides live coverage of this year's American League Championship Series and the 103rd World Series. All postseason games and the All-Star Game on FOX are broadcast in HD.
