Dr. Keith Ablow Dr. Keith Ablow brings both his professional and personal experience as a psychiatrist, author, husband and father to daytime television, offering viewers practical solutions to everyday challenges. Having worked as an individual and couples' therapist for over 20 years, Dr. Ablow has a keen understanding of the personal struggles that exist in today's world. After receiving his M.D., Dr. Ablow continued to write, and published numerous non-fiction books, including How to Cope with Depression, To Wrestle with Demons and Anatomy of a Psychiatric Illness, as well as magazine and newspaper articles. Then, in 1990, after a close friend was murdered, Dr. Ablow was inspired to write the first of his best-selling crime-based series of novels, Without Mercy.
