Jeri Ryan Ronnie Cooke on Boston Public
Actress Jeri Ryan, known to millions as the character Seven of Nine from "Star Trek: Voyager," joined the ensemble cast of the hit series Boston Public in the fall of 2001.Ryan portrays Ronnie Cooke, a new teacher whose background will stir things up amongst her fellow teachers and the students. Ryan joined "Star Trek: Voyager" at the beginning of the fourth season. Prior to that, she starred in the series "Dark Skies," guest starred on "Melrose Place," and appeared in the fact-based movies "Nightmare in Columbia County" and "In the Line of Duty: Ambush in Waco." Ryan also has starred in the feature films "Wes Craven Presents: Dracula 2000," "Men Cry Bullets" and "The Last Man." Born in Munich, Germany, Ryan moved to the United States while still a child. An army brat, she had lived in Kansas, Maryland, Hawaii, Georgia and Texas by age 11. Her family eventually settled in Kentucky. She attended Northwestern University, earning a BA in Theater.
