Jason Bateman
Michael Bluth on Arrested Development

Jason Bateman Jason Bateman established himself as an actor in his early teens, first in the long-running show "Little House on the Prairie," followed by a starring role in the hit family comedy "Silver Spoons." Since then, Bateman has successfully transitioned from child actor to distinguished professional.

On the big screen, Bateman most recently co-starred with Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller in the summer box office hit "DodgeBall." Earlier in 2004, he played a villain in the feature revival of "Starsky & Hutch." In 2002, Bateman starred with Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate and Selma Blair in the romantic comedy, "The Sweetest Thing," and received critical acclaim for his comedic timing in the role of "Roger." Other film credits include "Sol Goode" and "Teen Wolf Too."

After he impressed network executives with his portrayal of the charming, yet scheming, "Derek Taylor" in "Silver Spoons," they created a spin-off, "It's Your Move," based on Bateman's popularity. He then starred with Valerie Harper in the "Valerie"/"Valerie's Family"/"The Hogan Family" comedy series from 1986-91. Bateman's other television credits include the telefilm, "Can You Feel Me Dancing," in which he co-starred with his sister, Justine, as well as "Simon," "Chicago Sons," "George and Leo," "Love Stinks" and "Some of My Best Friends."

Bateman lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Amanda Anka.
