West Virginia University has announced a partnership with a ticket sales company to enhance sales for Mountaineer athletic events.

The agreement is with IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions, which also partners with 30 other schools.

Under the agreement announced Wednesday, IMG Learfield will handle ticket sales for all W.Va. sports. The W.Va. operations will be managed by Robert Kristiniak, who is joining IMG from the University of California-Berkeley, where he was an assistant athletics director.

W.Va. Director of Athletics Oliver Luck said IMG Learfield will have a staff of five working out of the Coliseum and will work with W.Va. staff.

The university announced earlier this year it was seeking a ticket sales company to sell unsold game tickets.
