Missing McDowell County man found dead in vehicle over hillside

IAEGER, W.Va.


Police say a missing McDowell County man has been found dead in his vehicle over a hillside.

Police tell media outlets that family members found the body of 39-year-old Tony Vanover of Iaeger on Saturday morning.

Police say Vanover was traveling on a logging road off of Route 80 on Coon Branch Mountain when his pickup truck went over the hillside.

Vanover was last seen Thursday night. His family reported him missing Friday evening.

The cause of the accident hasn't been determined.
