West Virginia's Roman Catholic Diocese to promote a statewide social ministry at conference

CHARLESTON, W.Va.


The Roman Catholic Diocese of West Virginia has scheduled a conference intended to promote social ministry in parishes across the state.

The Wheeling-Charleston Diocese's Office of Social Ministries and Catholic Charities of West Virginia are sponsoring the conference, which is scheduled for June 27 and 28. It will be held in Charleston.

The title of the gathering is "Faith, Hope, Love — Becoming the Church of the Poor."
