ST ALBANS SLAYING
St. Albans residents charged with fatally stabbing, robbing woman at her home

ST. ALBANS, W.Va.


Two St. Albans residents are charged in the stabbing death of a 66-year-old woman.

According to media reports, 27-year-old Jessica Mae Wilson and 28-year-old Timothy Paul Shafer have been charged with felony murder and armed robbery.

Wilson and Shafer allegedly took turns stabbing Nancy Burdette Lynch in her home before stealing two cars and jewelry in early January. Neighbors did not find the victim's body until last Sunday.

The defendants were being held in South Central Regional Jail without bail Saturday.
