The West Virginia Department of Transportation says residents will soon be able to drive along a section of road in Logan County that was cut off by a mudslide.
She says highway crews continue to remove debris and add gravel in muddy spots of the road. She says residents may face temporary delays as crews monitor traffic.
Three dozen residents were removed from their homes last week after a hillside gave way and cut off access to the road.
Bly says design plans are being finished for a temporary causeway across the Guyandotte River.
