Hearing on Mon General plan to provide radiation therapy postponed until March

A hearing on Mon General Hospital's plan to provide radiation therapy to cancer patients has been delayed until March.
A certificate of need is required for any project exceeding $2.9 million.
WVU Hospitals had requested a hearing on the plan. The Dominion Post reports that Mon General and WVU Hospitals agreed to delay the hearing.
WVU Hospitals president and CEO Bruce McClymonds has stated that there already are five linear accelerators in north central West Virginia.
