CABELL HUNTINGTON HOSPITAL-CONTRACT
As current contract expires, Cabell Huntington Hospital union workers seek new pact

Union leaders representing 800 workers at Cabell Huntington Hospital are negotiating a new contract as the clock ticks on the current pact.
That involves the proposed removal of health insurance for part-time workers. That would affect 167 employees.
Union leaders say they made sacrifices in the last contract round three years ago, when the hospital was struggling during the recession. They are pointing this round of talks to a 2012 hospital audit that showed a $33 million profit for Cabell Huntington Hospital.
Hospital officials say they have presented a fair and generous contract offer.
