An eastern Ohio school district's technology director has retired after being charged with evidence tampering in an investigation about whether other laws were broken in a rape case involving two athletes.
The Steubenville Herald Star reports the school board approved the longtime employee's immediate retirement Friday.
A message seeking comment was left for his appointed attorney.
Rhinaman was indicted by a grand jury looking into other aspects of the rape case. It was convened after two Steubenville high school football players were convicted of raping a 16-year-old West Virginia girl after an August 2012 party.
