Organizers of a Tough Mudder event in West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle say few problems occurred during the weekend competition.
Tough Mudder spokesman Ben Johnson tells The Journal that organizers can't remove all of the obstacle course's risks. Their goal is to have systems that they have completed confidence in in place.
The event was held Saturday and Sunday at the Peacemaker National Training Center in Glengary.
Peacemaker owner Cole McCulloch says there weren't indications of any issues, not even with traffic control or parking.
University Healthcare Berkeley Medical Center spokeswoman Teresa McCabe says 10 people were treated and released, most for orthopedic injuries. Several were treated for hypothermia.
