A new $2.1 million recreation center has opened in Inwood with help from Powerball jackpot winner W. Randy Smith.
The W. Randy Smith Recreation Center is located on the Musselman High School campus. The Berkeley County School Board donated land for the facility.
Media outlets report that a dedication ceremony will be held Nov. 20.
Smith won a $79 million Powerball jackpot in 2010. He chose the $44 million cash option and pocketed $30 million after taxes.
