Japan top regulator urges utility drastic steps to eliminate mishaps at crippled nuke plant

Japan's top nuclear regulator has urged the utility to take "drastic" steps to improve working conditions and funding to resolve a spate of mishaps at the crippled nuclear plant that has triggered international concerns.
The talks were closed except for few minutes at the beginning.
The problems at the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant have raised concerns about TEPCO's ability to tackle the crisis. Tanaka summoned Hirose to seek solutions to what he says appear to be fundamental problems.
