When the opportunity arose to hook up with Marquee Cinemas (Call the movie hotline sometime at 744-FILM) and check out movies for Eyewitness News, I grabbed it.
The idea to do local movie reviews is something I've been kicking around for a long time. I've been in love with the silver screen ever since I was a little kid, when my mom and dad would take my sister Cathy and me to the old Valley Drive-Inn Theater in St. Albans. Sitting on the hood or the trunk of the car, watching the world unfold in front of me, munching on popcorn and listening to the tinny little speakers is one of my best memories.
