Anyone who would host and package a TV program of such low quality and disguisting content as his, is not a person of outstanding character. He is of such low quality of character, that I would hope the good people of Ohio would have the sense not to even condiser this individual to represent them in any way shape or form. Even if Springer's program is done for pure purposes of laughter, shock and entertainment, it still shows what type of values he has. That he would associate himself with this garbage at all shows a severe lack of good judgment.

If you separate what he does for a living and who he is as a person, Jerry Springer is an intelligent, compassionate person. He is aware that Middle Class America is suffering from economic troubles, lack of educational opportunities, and lack of health care, and I think he will do everything he can to make our lives better. I also feel that he will listen to the citizens when the time comes for him to vote on major issues in the Senate. I think he would do an excellent job as Ohio's elected US Senator

Although, he was a former mayor of Cincinnati, I don't believe that he is a good role model - meaning his show degrades people in front of an audience. I just do not see how people could actually vote him for Senator, when he has an immature show. How do you know that he will make a good Senator, if he acts like that on the show?

Jerry and I have widely different political views. He is not new to politics, he served as mayor of Cincinnati Ohio. What Jerry nees to do is separate his TV image from his political viewpoints. It will be a tough job but I admire his choice to attempt this very difficult task. Again I would not vote for him only because of political views, his show plays no part in my decision
