I feel that casino gambling would only add to the many problems that Huntington is having. It would create problems for marriages, people's children and personal finances. There are enough addictions out in the world without giving local people another to have to deal with.

How can it be the start of many others? Las Vegas is rolling they are no where bankrupt, they are making money by the millions. If people think (no we don't wan't gambling in our city) wake up it's already there in the form of bingo,lottery, gambling is gambling no mater how you look at it, if people want to gamble they will go find a casnio/river boat. Why let all the other cities rake in the dough? Vote yes!

I feel anything to bring jobs to West Virginia is a good thing. West Virginia is such a beautiful state. I think not only would West Virginia bennefit financially from casino gambling I think it could also bennefit financially from something like an amusement park along the lines of Disney World. Please brng jobs here so we can stay and not have to work in other states.

It takes social security monies away from seniors that have a problem with gambling and generally with the poor, who are always looking for that bigdilusional pot of money, that can't afford to gamble. It's promoted because local and state gov'ts are ignorant when it comes to being good stewerds of public tax monies and always overspend. Biblically it is immoral. I was always told that a fool and his money are soon parted.

I think it is a great idea. This state has no growth. We need somthing else that will provide a better paying job than all the 8 dollar an hour jobs. Especially Huntington they need help, Charleston is in the same situation. Political crooks taking your hard earned money. Dont let them ruin your life forever!! Stand up and be proud.
