Question of the Day
EYEWITNESS NEWS QUESTION OF THE DAY RESPONSE

What are your thoughts on Randy Moss' latest run in with the law?

A SAMPLING OF YOUR RESPONSES:

I think that he is arrogant and that he can get away w/ crime just because of who he is. If you do the crime, pay your dues!
Jennifer Lynn Sandifer, Pocatalico

He is nothing but trouble. People just need to suck it up and see that trouble is his middle name, always has been and always will be.
Amy, Charleston

He thinks he can do what ever he wants and get away with it. If they found drugs on him he shouldn't be allowed to play ball. They should do a drug test on him now. Remember how he acted on the plane here and they kicked him off? One of these days that temper of his will put him in prison for good. And we will all laugh!
Eve, Charleston

I think he should be treated as any other criminal that has done his many deeds. just because he made it big should not make him above the law, even if he thinks it does.
Charlene, Oak Hill

He is where he needs 2 be in Jail. It is about time.
Kevin Moore, So Chas

Is he guilty? Only the Good Lord knows.
John P. Luongo, Jonesborough TN

He has used drugs all his life. It is nothing new to him. I hope they fire him he needs to work for aliving and hopefule not back here. He has said what he thinks of West Virginia. After gave him a chance. Flordia told him to get lost and we should have to. He doesn`t know what it is to have it hard. Some time in jail sound good for someone like him.
Randy Kidd, Cheasapeake

Moss needs to be put in jail and to be band from playing sports. He is setting a bad example to our children who are watching him,I dont care how good he is,his attitude needs a big adjustment. Also the NFL needs to think about it I cant beleive they let him keep getting by with the things he does you would have thought the water bottle incident would have been the line, someone needs to put him in his place and its not on a football field so everyone can watch.
Tammy Chambers, Griffithsville

He is just a thug!!!! If it was not for sports he would have been in person years ago!!!!!!
Jeff, Hurricane

In Randy's interview he said he has gave football his ALL and what has he gotten in return? Well let me answer that for him....MILLIONS OF DOLLARS....wake up Randy and for once take responsibility for what u do thats not RIGHT...
Tina, Charleston

If he did as reported, then he should be made to pay for the crime.
Frank, Scott Depot

This is right up his alley, and in step with his character. Just another West Virginian giving our state a bad reputation!
Larry Chapman II, Charleston

He needs to grow up
Tom Wyre, Summereville

I think he should get the same treatment as any one else.he should get the same amount of jail time regardless of who he is.
Danny Ellsworth, Charleston

Randy Moss is a thug who has been given more chances than the commom man would get b/c he has extra ordinary football skills..forget the purple and gold...his true colors are shining through again
Tom Sizemore, St Albans

I don't know what all the excitement is about.
John Fisher, St. Albans

I'm sure that many people will convict Moss outright without hearing what happened. Of course this is a state that allows coal companies and coal trucks to knowingly violate the laws so maybe will cut Moss a break, again!
Charlie Nichols, Cross Lanes

Why not charge Randy Moss the way that any other ordinary citizen would be charged in this latest of his follies. In your lead news story this evening regarding Moss,no charges were mentioned regarding assulting the traffic agent.
Jon Vineyard, Scott Depot, WV

I think if your poor you would go to jail for trying to use a car as a weopen but if your rich you get out of it. He has had to many chances
Allen M. Stump, Cedar Grove

I think he is bad example for w.Va. He seems to think he can do whatever and get by .
C.Martin, Proctorville Oh.

Randy Moss has had every break in the world and continues to be a disgrace. Pete Rose was banned from baseball and even the baseball hall of fame for illegal actions. I think its time to do the same with Moss
Jeff Nichols, St. Albans

I think he needs to do his time in jail just like anyone else that has commited a felony he should not be treated any difference just because he is a football
angie hyden, st. albans

It is so sad that a man that COULD be an influence for good to youth is acting like a juvinile deliquent instead of a responsible MAN.randy Moss should clean up his act. His fame has gone to his head and he thinks he is above the law. so sad!
Emma Rose Cavender, Nitro

I think he needs to do his time in jail just like anyone else that has commited a felony he should not be treated any difference just because he is a football player
Angie Hyden, St. Albans

West virgina used to be his problem i beleive he has another state to blame long as he is not connected with west virgina i'm happy
Robert, Raleigh co

Just goes to show you that if you have the money then you can do anything. If any other person did what he did they would still be in jail facing a felony charge. I think its unfair
Craig Winter, Fayetteville

He should be made to stand acountable for his action,Not just a slap on the wrist, AGAIN !!!!!
John Fields, Charleston

He has no respect for anyone including hisself.
Joyce, Ripley

Well once again Randy Moss doesn't have to take responsibility for his actions. What kind of message is this for youny kids. We have noticed unruly spectators going on to the field and assulting innocent people, where do you think they have gotten this mentality? If this had been one of us we would have been charged with a felony and put in jail where we would have had to remain. Just maybe if he were made to take responsibility just once, he just might turn out to be something other than a thug.
L Johnson, St Albans WV

Randy Randy Randy...Why can't you behave yourself and be a nice citizen? Is that so hard for you? money has not done this to you....you were like this before you got money....please do not shame WV anymore than you already have.....BE NICE....IT'S NOT HARD.....JUST TRY IT~
Criket, Charleston

I have known Randy Moss for a long time. He has always thought that we was above the law because of his ability to play football. He has no regard for authority is anyway. I think that if this would have been someone else with a record of Moss's that they would be doing some serious jail time. But his money will get him off. I am just glad that Minnesota has him because he has done nothing but give West Virginia a bad name, and some of us are not proud to say he is from our home town.
B. Newton, Belle

My opinion is, that this is a repeated, typical behavior for Randy Moss.Randy has repeatedly shown that this side of him is the dominant side. This is the same behavior that he has had from his youth on. This
Marsha Allen, Poca, wv

Before everyone convicts him I think you need to hear his side of what happened. we jump toofast to convict him just because he is randy moss i want to hear his side
robert and donna, charleston

Why would anybody step out in front of a car trying to hold it back with her body, when all she had to do was to take the tag number. Sounds to me they shouldn't do anything to moss and should get rid of her.
Dallas Elswick, Nitro

Randy Moss maybe considered a roll model, but I dont agree with everyone's criticism towards him. He doesnt have to prove anything to anyone. Yeah he probably could have handled the situation differently but it is not that critical for people to say that they dont want him to live in minnesota. Come on, he was punished enough, by having to spend the night in jail, but people have to hype it up more than it needs to be. He's still randy moss and if your a randy fan, then reguardless of what he does youll still be a randy fan. Maybe we should try to understand the stress and pressures that randy deals with and stop being so critical of every little thing that randy moss does, because i know that not one of us are perfect.
shelley rodgers, charleston, wv

Look at his record. We have wondered how long it would take before his old ways would catch up with him. Randy Moss past behavior should have landed him in jail not on a football field, I guess if you have the attention of the NFL some things can be overlooked. This will be very interesting to watch what happens next because you know the old saying a zebra does NOT change it's strips, I just hope no one gets seriously injured or killed in his selfless acts.
Kim and John, Elkview

I Think Randy moss will be okwe need to pray for him andpray for our kids. and take agood look at ourself before we judge someone else.no weapon formed against you will prosper
Bobby Edwards, Charleston wv.

Randy Moss needs to learn respect and self-control. Also, the NFL needs to set some strict standards for it's players to live by, and if the players can't, there should be some heavy consequences. There are so many disrespectful athletes out there today. They need a wake-up call.
Amy Boggs, Charleston

He makes me sick! I hope this lady sues him big! He thinks he can just do whatever he wants because he plays pro ball and he does. How can he say he didn't do it when people saw him do it?I think he will walk away with a smile because he has before. Where's the justice? How scary that must have been on that poor lady, and he doesn't even care.
Terri, South Charleston

Randy Moss is not a role model for children. I am sickened when I see young boys with his jersey on.
Katy, South Charleston

I'm sorry, I think Randy Moss has a lot of issues to overcome. He is a great football player, but I definitely think he has issues.
Travis Castle, Eskdale
