DEBIT MISUSE-DEAD WOMAN
Southwest Ohio woman pleads no contest to charges related to use of dead woman's debit card

Reported by: Associated Press
Reported: Thursday, July 17, 2014 5:52 PM EDT
DAYTON, Ohio

A southwest Ohio woman has pleaded no contest to eight charges involving using a dead woman's stolen debit card.

Thirty-year-old Tonisha Harris of Dayton pleaded no contest Wednesday in Montgomery County court to charges of receiving stolen property and theft. She is set to be sentenced Aug. 14.

Her attorney didn't respond to a message.

Prosecutors say that in March she used a debit card reported stolen by 25-year-old Nishelle McKnight of Dayton at numerous locations throughout Montgomery County.

McKnight's body was found April 11 after she vanished in March with her 4-year-old son, now presumed dead.

Police believe McKnight and Harris were in a relationship with the same man, 26-year-old Antwan Anderson. He was a suspect in the disappearances of McKnight and her son and killed himself April 7.
