SW Ohio amusement park offers free admission to active military, veterans for holiday period

MASON, Ohio


An amusement park is offering free admission to active and retired members of the U.S. military over the Fourth of July holiday period.

Kings Island says the deal is available through Sunday at the amusement park and waterpark north of Cincinnati. Those taking advantage of the offer must present a valid military ID.

Military personnel also can buy admission at a special price for up to six family members.

Kings Island officials say those who qualify for the offer include veterans with honorable or medical discharges, members of the National Guard and members of the Reserve Officers' Training Corps with government-issued ID.
