WOMAN'S BODY FOUND
Ohio deputies seek answers in death of woman found in abandoned car after crash

Reported by: Associated Press
Reported: Wednesday, June 18, 2014 6:41 AM EDT
CINCINNATI

Investigators are trying to find out how a 29-year-old southwest Ohio woman ended up dead in an abandoned car that was involved in a crash.

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office said Jena Higgins was reported missing Sunday. Her body was found Monday in a car abandoned after a crash in Whitewater Township near Cincinnati.

Alcohol or drugs are believed to be a factor in the single-vehicle crash. The driver lost control and hit two trees and a utility pole. Higgins was a passenger in the car.

The owner of the diner where Higgins worked tells The Cincinnati Enquirer that she was the mother of four young boys.

The driver hasn't been found.
