2 arrested in northwest Ohio shooting spree that killed man, injured 3 others

Reported by: Associated Press
Reported: Tuesday, May 27, 2014 7:25 AM EDT

Police in Toledo say they've arrested two people in an apparent gang-related shooting in a large crowd that left one man dead and three other people wounded.

Officers say they arrested 19-year-old Tyler Jones and 18-year-old Areanna Coley in the Sunday afternoon shooting spree. Twenty-two-year-old Sheymarr Noble was shot dead, and three other people were hospitalized with gunshot wounds. All were expected to survive.

Jones has been charged with one count of murder and three counts of felonious assault. Coley has been charged with obstruction of justice. They were in jail Tuesday. Online records didn't indicate if they had attorneys.

Witnesses said a large number of people were gathered outside their homes when a fight broke out. That's when the shots were fired.
