When the Winter Olympics open this week in Russia, the U.S. alpine ski team can thank an Ohio chef for handling the training table duties in the lead-up to Sochi.
She got to cook for the team at its training base in Austria and at pre-Olympic meets.
The 36-year-old Blair is a nutritionist who trained at Ohio State University and studied cooking at Cleveland's Cuyahoga Community College.
She tells The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer (bit.ly/1eTd0xm) she won't go to the Olympics because her credentials did not arrive in time. Another chef will do the cooking in Russia.
