DRIVING-MOVE OVER LAW
Law requiring drivers to move over for construction vehicles in Ohio bow in place

The widow of a road crew worker killed two years ago on the Ohio Turnpike says a new law requiring drivers to slow down and shift lanes if possible for construction and maintenance vehicles is a good start.
Ohio Gov. John Kasich's (KAY'-siks) signature this month put the "Move Over Law" into effect.
It will force drivers approaching construction and maintenance vehicles to slow down and shift lanes if possible just like they're required to do when nearing emergency vehicles on the roadside.
The directors of the state Department of Transportation and the Ohio Turnpike say the measure will boost safety for roadway workers.
