Feds convert Ohio drug house used to launder money to safe haven for women fleeing sex trade

Federal authorities have turned an Ohio drug house used to launder money into a safe haven for women trying to escape prostitution.
Investigators say the property was seized in 2010 as part of a successful operation by Dayton police and the FBI targeting a drug dealer who bought the house to launder drug money.
Dayton Police Chief Richard Biehl says the creation of Oasis House recognizes the importance of helping women involved in the sex trade to be rehabilitated, instead of just arresting them.
Operation Goodwill allows property seized through investigations to be donated to support drug treatment and anti-drug programs.
