Reported by: Associated Press
Reported: Thursday, October 24, 2013 10:49 AM EDT
Two Bulgarian immigrants the government says are illegally in the U.S. have pleaded not guilty to charges of stealing bank and credit card numbers in southwestern Ohio.
Court records say they were arrested after being seen going back and forth from their car in a Springdale parking lot to an ATM on Sept. 28.
Police who pulled them over and searched their car say they found marijuana and tools for credit card skimming.
Angelov's attorney says he questions whether police had sufficient evidence to detain his client and that he's going to investigate the matter thoroughly. Kolev's attorney didn't respond immediately to a request for comment.
