New York-based roulette scam ring hits all 4 Ohio casinos, authorities say; 13 arrests so far

Authorities say all four Ohio casinos have been hit by a New York crime ring that operates a roulette scam.
The Columbus Dispatch reports the scam involves chips used on the roulette table. The scammers buy a certain color of chips that allows the bettor to set the value.
Chips then are secretly passed off to someone else who returns to a table and assigns a higher value to that color of chips.
There have been 13 arrests so far. Four men are scheduled to be sentenced Friday in Cincinnati.
