Ex-county government scale inspector indicted in Cleveland in probe of her work and hours

A former county government inspector of grocery scales and price scanners has been indicted in Cleveland on charges of falsifying inspection records and lying about work hours.
Rogers, who was fired last year during an internal investigation, was charged with 61 counts including tampering with government records, forgery and theft.
No defense attorney was listed in court records. A message seeking comment was left at a phone listed for the address on Rogers' court record.
Rogers was hired by a county auditor who pleaded guilty in a public corruption investigation that netted to more than 50 convictions. Her mother, a top aide to convicted former auditor Frank Russo, also pleaded guilty.
