Attorneys in a lawsuit against a southwest Ohio village that hit thousands of drivers with speeding citations after installing cameras want a judge to declare it a class action.
An attorney for the village near Cincinnati said in court Thursday that the class action should be denied because few people appealed their citations.
The Cincinnati Enquirer (http://cin.ci/19XAVYg ) reports that Ruehlman expects to rule Oct. 22.
Elmwood Village began using the cameras last September. The village has been struggling financially.
