ELEVATOR DEATH
Man falls to death in elevator shaft in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky.


Police say a man has died in Louisville after falling down an elevator shaft at a cement plant.

Police told WAVE-TV that the man was a temporary worker with a cleaning service. Police said he fell from the top of the shaft onto the roof of the elevator on the ground floor about four stories below.

The incident was reported shortly after 9 a.m. EST at CEMEX in southwestern Jefferson County.
