A 21-year-old man who escaped from a Kentucky jail this past summer is scheduled to appear in a central New York court on burglary charges.
Dechoudens and his 19-year-old brother were arrested by Onondaga County sheriff's deputies on July 31, two weeks after he escaped form Kentucky's Christian County Jail. Officials say he climbed the pole of a basketball hoop to reach a ledge, then cut a hole in a chain-link fence, squeezed through and made his escape.
