Estimates to make Graves County industrial park industry-ready in tens of millions of dollars

Officials say preliminary cost estimates to bring infrastructure design to the Purchase Regional Industrial Park show it will take tens of millions of dollars to make it industry-ready.
The Graves County park is farmland being leased to farmers to help pay for maintenance and marketing. The megasite designation means that the park's board plans to help build infrastructure for business prospects that would generate 500 or more jobs.
Tony Goodman, board chairman, said the cost study is very preliminary and only addressed the northern tract of the site.
