You must be 18 or older to enter this contest. Official Rules United State Army Healthcare Recruiting Contest Who Can Enter 1. To be eligible to participate in this contest, entrants must be U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older and reside in the WCHS-TV and WVAH-TV viewing area. 2. Employees of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group, Inc., Sinclair Properties LLC, and any other company which owns, programs or provides other services to television broadcast stations WCHS-TV and WVAH-TV (collectively the "Stations"), The United States Army Healthcare Recruiting Team, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, any and all local television broadcast and cable stations, local radio and other media companies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible. The term "immediate families" includes spouses, grandparents, parents, siblings, children and grandchildren. How to Enter (a) No purchase is necessary to enter. Only one entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be void. (b) To enter log on to www.wchstv.com or wvah.com and find the US Army Contest graphic link on the home page. Complete the entry form by acknowledging that you may be contacted by The U.S. Army Healthcare Recruiting Team about a career with The U.S. Army, and by providing your name, address, telephone number, date of birth, sex and current occupation. You may also enter by sending a postcard which includes all the above information to "US Army Contest" c/o WCHS-TV/Fox11, 1301 Piedmont Rd. Charleston, WV 25301. (c) The contest starts on January 1, 2008, and all entries must be received by the Station by 5p.m. EDT on February 1, 2008. The Station is not responsible for lost, late or misdirected mail, printing errors, electronic errors, server unavailability or computer malfunctions. (d) One (1) winner will be selected by random drawing from among valid entries. Prize drawing will be held during the morning of February 8, 2008. (e) All entries received that are duplicated, mutilated, tampered with, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. All entries become the property of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc., Sinclair Television Group, Inc. and the Station and will not be acknowledged or returned. The Prize 1. One (1) winner will be selected and will receive (i) one (1) Littman Stethoscope one (1) Littmann Stethoscope ($120.00). The prize does not include meals, transportation, gratuities, or any other expenses. The prize is non-transferable. 2. Winner will be notified by phone. Before claiming prize, winner must provide their correct name, address and telephone number to Station at the time of notification. Winner must sign and return a release and affidavit of eligibility, which must be received by February 15, 2008 at 5p.m. EDT. Winner must show picture identification to claim prizes. Station reserves the right to examine additional identification and may choose to accept or deny awarding the prize based on the identification presented. 3. If prize winner cannot be notified by February 15, 2008 at 5p.m. EDT, or does not timely return the release and affidavit of eligibility, the prize will be forfeited. If forfeited, another winner will be randomly selected from among remaining valid entries. 4. There will be no substitutions or cash alternatives for prizes except at the sole discretion of Station. The Station has the right to substitute a prize of similar value. 5. The winners are responsible for paying all local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prizes as set forth in these rules. 6. Sinclair Properties LLC, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and Sinclair Television Group, Inc. are not liable if the provider of any part of the prize fails to satisfy its obligations to furnish its portion of the prize. 7. Sinclair Properties LLC, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and Sinclair Television Group, Inc. are not responsible for any liabilities arising directly or indirectly from the award or use of the prize. 8. In claiming your prize, you acknowledge that Sinclair Properties LLC, Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. and Sinclair Television Group, Inc. have the right to publicize your name, character, likeness, photograph, voice and the fact that you are the winner for promotional purposes without financial remuneration. Odds of Winning/Miscellaneous 1. Odds of winning the prize depends on the number of entries received. 2. Complete contest rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at WCHS-TV/Fox11, 1301 Piedmont Rd. Charleston, WV 25301 and on the Stations' websites at www.wchstv.com or wvah.com. 3. For the name of the prize winner, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to WCHS-TV/Fox11, 1301 Piedmont Rd. Charleston, WV 25301 by March 7, 2008. 4. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
